SPECIAL CARE UNIT

Individuals with special needs, such as Residents living with Alzheimers or dementia, are accommodated in our Special Care Unit (SCU) which houses a team of skilled and committed staff who employ a holistic approach and believe that an optimal level of wellness and well-being is attainable in each individual.

STAFF TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT

We believe that our human resources are our most important asset, that the knowledge, skills, attitudes and motivation of our staff are crucial to our success.

The organization is committed to support all levels of staff through continuing training and development programmes, which will enable them to deliver an enhanced quality of care to the residents at Highlands House.

Please note: Due to the nature of the extensive renovations to our Special Care Unit we will not be able to admit mentally frail residents from April 2010 for the next 6-8 months
